The Quiksilver Pro (February 27 - March 10) is the pinnacle of professional surfing on the Gold Coast. As the only ASP World Championship Tour event in Australia, the Quiksilver Pro provides the first stop for the 2010 World Tour. With the likes of Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning and Joel Parkinson all competing, the surfing community truly comes alive throughout the event.

Byron Bay Film Festival

The 2010 Byron Bay International Film Festival is a nine-day extravaganza of film, featuring a host of Australian Premieres, Gala Red Carpet parties, Q&A sessions, family-friendly film sessions, free filmmaking workshops and more.
Opening and Closing Night tickets are available now from the Byron Community Centre for the Early Bird Price of just $25. As well as some of the best films from our festival these tickets include some very special entertainment and our catered after party. So come to the festival for a red carpet experience.

Green Earth Festival

Green Earth Festival is a free, family orientated, community event which aims to stimulate awareness by bringing environmental, green, health and lifestyle, cruelty-free, recycling and sustainable issues into the public eye; encourage people to make simple changes in their everyday lives to help our environment and the world we leave for generations to come.

The festival will comprises of live bands/performers, a second stage for demonstrations and speakers, a food zone, children’s zone, video zone, art and fashion displays, roving entertainment and many stalls to create a full-filled festival atmosphere strongly supporting the promotion of local grassroots communities, multiculturalism and the Indigenous people and their culture.

The Gold Coast Caravan Camping 4WD Fish Show consists of over 190 exhibitors from around the country ranging from 5th Wheelers, Caravans and Motorhomes right down to ingenious gadgets like portable cookers and washing machines to make the outdoors so much easier and enjoyable. The Show is a complete showcase of what the outdoors has to offer.
